Manual attendance supports a custom date and time. Past dates are allowed for corrections; future timestamps are blocked.

Barcode / Company ID

A USB barcode scanner behaves like a keyboard and should scan the employee company ID (company_id2).

Native barcode scanning is used when supported by the browser.

Automatic kiosk mode will load the face engine, start the camera and begin recognition when the page is ready.

1. Enroll / Update Face

Capture 3 clear samples. Only one face should be visible and both eyes should remain visible.

2. Face Punch

Look at the camera. The enrolled face template is matched and attendance is punched automatically.

Test Match only verifies the enrolled face and shows the best match. It never saves attendance.

Fingerprint / Biometric Terminal

Compatible fingerprint, face or RFID terminals can send a matched employee ID to the secure device gateway.

Send the device API key in X-Attendance-Device-Key and the matched employee_id in JSON.

Local test

Use an employee company ID (company_id2) to verify the attendance pipeline before connecting a real terminal.
